Class 3 have had a fantastic day! First, class 3 were introduced to the story ‘The day the crayons quit’. We discussed what quit meant and then we began the story. The children explored new vocabulary used in the book to help them with their writing! Next, the children wrote their own letter to Duncan persuading the crayons to come back. After play time, we drew our favourite crayon and made our best poster to date. Miss Racher was very pleased with the posters we made. Finally, on the afternoon we decorated our own hats for a competition in assembly. Everyone in Class 3 worked very hard!
