School Dinners

School Dinners

School meals are prepared daily by Miss Wardle.  They are available at a cost of £2.15 per day.  Meals for children in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are funded by the government.  Some pupils are eligible for free school meals, if their families are receiving certain benefits.  If you feel your child may be eligible for free school meals, please contact the school office to request a confidential form.

Menus

We follow a three week menu rota. Taylor Shaw also now provide the option of a freshly made sandwich selection every day.  Click on the link to see our current menu

School meals are currently £2.15 (as of september 2021)

Winter Term Lunch Menu

Packed lunches

Children who do not wish to have a school dinner can bring a healthy packed lunch to school.

Please do not put sweets/chocolate/crisps into packed lunches; we encourage our children to eat healthily and to avoid processed foods such as sausages, breakfast bars etc. A healthy lunch box should contain one portion of bread, pasta or rice, one portion of fruit or vegetables, one portion of meat, fish or cheese/yogurt and one portion of cake.

Milk

All under 5s are given a free portion of milk, at school, each day.  Those children who are entitled to free school meals are also entitled to free milk – please let the school office know if your child is receiving free school meals and would also like to receive free milk.

For those children who are not entitled to free milk, parents can pay for their child to receive milk at school.   Parents can sign up at www.coolmilk.com or contact the school office for a form.
